It has come to our attention on January 11th that some users have been unable to start their Narrowcast Servers after upgrading to 10.6. We are currently working on creating a solution. Distributing a fix as soon as possible is currently our highest priority.
Are there any potential workarounds?
Currently organizations on the Feature Release that rely on Narrowcast are advised to postpone any upgrade to 10.6 until a fix is available.
Any organizations currently on 10.6 that are experiencing Narrowcast issues can still distribute essential reports through Distribution Services until a fix is available. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
How do I receive updates, and how do I receive an alert when a solution is available?
You can follow progress on this issue by following this blog post. We will send another email announcement as soon as we have a solution in place.
